Participants meet for one full day each month, in different locations and with various community leaders in education, government, business, and the nonprofit sectors. The program moves participants from “head to heart to feet,” making a commitment to be part of the solution to challenges facing the community.
Leadership Genesee's 2009-10 program began in October. The program brings together professionals from throughout Genesee County for an in-depth look at personal, professional, and community leadership issues.

Tuition for Leadership Genesee 2009-2010 is $1,100 if a commitment to participate and $200 deposit is received by August 1, 2009 ($1300 after August 1, 2009) and covers all program costs and materials, including meals during day long and service project sessions. A deposit of $200 is required with this application and upon acceptance to the program will be applied to the tuition (if you are not accepted, the deposit will be refunded). Tuition must be paid in full no later than October 15, 2009. A payment plan is available providing balance is paid in full by the start of the program. Many employers are willing to make this investment on behalf of their employees. See if your employer is one of them!

Along with being the husband of Lynn for the past 19 years and father of Hillary and Michael, Daryl Vanella has been a senior level leader in the field of Human Services for over 15 years. Daryl is a Master's level counselor and holds several post graduate certificates in leadership and management. Daryl is also a certified trainer with a huge passion for developing leaders to their highest potential. Resource Genesee has contracted with Daryl to bring his skills and experience to this dynamic leadership program.
