Resource Genesee serves area charities and nonprofit entities by making people aware of the need for volunteers. We use this space for volunteer opportunities happening in the next four weeks. PAWS ANIMAL RESCUE

Needs immediate volunteer help on their Swartz Creek farm cleaning kennesl, feeding animals, walking and socializing new arrivals, doing laundry. Also need food donations. Contact Edith, (810)767-6366.

DOMESTIC ABUSE/SEXUAL ASSAULT COUNSELORS

The YWCA needs you! 40-hour training program for volunteer counselors working with battered women begins Sept. 21. If you have a background in social work, human services or criminal justice, this is for you. Contact Colleen O'Malley, (810) 238-7621, ext. 335 or colleenomalley@ywcaflint.org.

NORTH END SOUP KITCHEN NEEDS DINNER VOLUNTEERS:

FLINT ARTS COUNCIL SEEKS VOLUNTEERS

Second Friday Art Walk - the second Friday of every month from 6-9pm. Location: Greater Flint Arts Council, 816 S. Saginaw St., Downtown Flint. Help in a variety of ways.
